I dreamed for years of a career change and going into barbering, and looked at different courses online both in my home country Sweden, and in the UK. I eventually settled on Thomas Lloyd Barbering Academy due to the small class sizes and getting great help over email from Lloyd, and I’m so glad I did. 

On my first day I was taught how to hold the scissors properly, and by the end of the 9 weeks I cut haircuts that made my clients happy! I have never learnt so much in such a short space of time, every week I progressed so much. It’s an intense course and difficult at times, and at the start I had a lot of self-doubt. But Lloyd is an incredible, funny, caring and patient teacher who encouraged me to keep going, and now at the end of the course I actually feel confident in myself! I’ve got the tools I need to pursue a career in barbering now, and I’m really thankful and proud of that. I would recommend this course to anyone that’s interested in barbering; no matter your skill level Lloyd will meet you where you’re at and teach you what you need to progress!
