After being made redundant at the start of the year, I decided on a fresh start in a new direction, focusing on my mental health and doing work that was both relaxed and rewarding. After having a conversation with my barber, I decided that barbering could be a good direction to move in, and after reading the testimonials and reviews, I settled on Thomas Lloyd Barbering Academy. 

This was arguably the best move I’ve made in 10 years of career building. 

I’ve had multiple ups and downs throughout the course, pushing myself and refining the skills I’ve learned over the weeks, and through this Christian and Lloyd have been a constant source of support, ensuring the course is relaxed and enjoyable whilst getting the most out of me as a trainee. 

The style of tutoring that they carry out is exceptional, putting you at ease immediately and making you feel right at home. The small groups allow for plenty of 1:1 support, and they make sure that if you are struggling in particular areas, that they work with you to really improve, and you get a really strong sense of that as the weeks go on.

Can’t recommend the Academy enough, and highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of a career change in this direction.
